Thunder Hill to Host Sprint Cars this Weekend

410 Sprint Cars will be returning to Thunderhill Speedway on August 13, 2007 when The All Star Circuit of Champions return to the highbanks of Thunderhill Speedway in Mayetta, KS. The event is expected to draw a number of cars outside of the All Star series, as it takes place only two days after the famed Knoxville Nationals.

Randy Hanagan set a blistering track record of 12.34 seconds in the All Stars 2005 appearance at Thunderhill, making the speedway one of the fastest 4/10 mile ovals in the country.

Thunderhill Speedway is a high banked, wide, 4/10 mile oval speedway located 14 miles north of Topeka on HWY. 75, and two miles west on 142nd rd.

Advance tickets are now on sale at all regional O'Reilly Auto Parts locations and can purchased for $17, while tickets the day of the race will be $22. The last day to purchase advance tickets for this event will be August 12.

The gates will open at 4pm for this event, hot laps will begin at 7, and time trials will begin at 7:30. Tickets at the gate are $22 for adults and $8 for kids ages 7-13. Children six and under will be admitted free with a paid adult. Advance adult tickets may be purchased for $17. Camping is allowed at the speedway free of charge.
