Mark Mangino opened the gates to his practice for the first time this season. KU started their morning workout at 9-o'clock, and went for about 2 hours and 45 minutes, finishing just before noon. The majority of the defense worked out on the east field, as the offense took to the west field. After their stretches and warm ups, the Hawks broke out into position specific drills. Just before 10, the team came together for full team drills, Todd Reesing and Kerry Meier split the majority of the snaps with the first team offense, but regardless of who's throwing the ball this fall, the experience for everyone is paying off.
