KANSAS CITY, MO (Aug. 1, 2007) – Royals Charities will host the third annual Royals Charities Back to School Drive to benefit Our Lady of Guadalupe Elementary School on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at Kauffman Stadium.
Royals Wives and Royals Charities volunteers will be collecting school supplies at Gate B of Kauffman Stadium from 5-7 p.m. prior to the Royals-Twins game that evening. Additional drop-off sites for the Royals Charities Back to School Drive include Gates A, C and D of Kauffman Stadium.
Items collected will be distributed to the students at Our Lady of Guadalupe Elementary School, 2310 Madison Ave. in Kansas City, Mo., so that they can experience the excitement of taking new school supplies to their first day of school. All school supplies sold at local retailers are needed, including backpacks, calculators, Trapper Keepers, folders, pencil boxes, Kleenex, crayons and scissors.
