GULLANE, Scotland (AP) _ Tom Watson has captured his third
Senior British Open in five years, scoring a one-shot victory over
Mark O'Meara and Stewart Ginn (gihn).
Watson won despite a double-bogey six on the last hole and
closed with a 2-over-73. He finished with an even-par total to
secure his fifth senior major title.
Watson also won five British Open titles on the regular tour.
Ginn shot a final-round 75 and O'Meara finished with a 72.
