American Levi Leipheimer wins 19th stage of Tour de France

ANGOULEME, France (AP) _ American Levi Leipheimer (LEE'-vy
LYP'-hy-mur) has won today's stage of the Tour de France with
Spain's Alberto Contador holding onto a narrow lead.
Contador's margin over Australia's Cadel Evans has been trimmed
to 23 seconds.
Barring a crash or other mishap, the 24-year-old Contador looks
likely to bring home the yellow jersey after tomorrow's 20th and
final stage.
Leipheimer, riding with the Discovery Channel team, won the
stage with a time of one hour, two minutes and 44 seconds. He's 31
seconds back in the overall standings.
