To the surprise of pundits, viewers, fans in the stands, and even themselves; the WIBW-TV "Survivors" went undefeated in pool play, and then managed to win the single elimination tournament in claiming gold at the Sunflower State Games.
Made up of on-air talent, and production crew members, the squad defeated four teams in pool play, then defated "Donuts and Booze" in the semi-final and "CG Braves" in the Championship Final.
