DETROIT (AP) _ Brandon Inge (ihnj) came through with a walkoff
two-run homer in the bottom of the tenth inning of the Detroit
Tigers' 10-to-8 win over the Kansas City Royals.
Sean Casey singled with one out before Inge lined the first
pitch he saw from reliever Joakim Soria over the left-field fence
for his 12th homer of the season. Soria is 1-and-3 with the loss.
Craig Monroe, Ryan Raburn and Placido Polanco also homered for
Detroit. Monroe drove in four.
Chad Durbin got the win to improve to 7-and-3.
