Drunk Driving Charge Filed Against Oklahoma State Hoops Player

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Prosecutors in Payne County today filed
a misdemeanor drunken driving charge against Oklahoma State
basketball player Marcus Dove.
Dove was arrested just after 2 Sunday morning by campus police
after his car drifted across the center line. He spent about seven
hours in jail before being released on a personal recognizance
bond.
O-S-U head coach Sean Sutton announced yesterday the indefinite
suspension of Dove from the basketball team.
Dove is to return to court August 20th.
He's one of two returning seniors on the Cowboys' basketball
team. He averaged four-point-seven points and four-and-a-half
rebounds per game last year and was the Big 12 Conference
co-defensive player of the year.
