Super Bowl Ring Stolen From Overland Park, Kansas Home

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (AP) Overland Park police say burglars who
struck the home of former Green Bay Packer Frank Winters got away
with his Super Bowl-31 ring and a 1997 N-F-C Championship ring, along with several other items.

Winters, who also played briefly for the Kansas City Chiefs, says he found his garage door open when he returned home July 5th. He says the burglary happened sometime between June 30th and July 5th.

The thieves also took Winters' Jeep, a flat screen television, a fur coat and silverware. His total loss was estimated at $50,000.
