TOPEKA, Kan. (July 12, 2007) – Heartland Park Topeka will be hosting the National Dragster Challenge on July 14.
The event gives bracket racers the opportunity to race for an NHRA Wally in their respective categories. Super Pro, Pro, Sportsmen and Street will be the four categories that will give racers an opportunity to receive the prestigious trophy along with a National Dragster Hat.
Gates for the event will open at 3 pm, Tech will be at the Tech Center at 3:30 pm, time runs will begin at 5:30 pm and the first round of races will start at 8:30 pm.
Heartland Park Topeka, a multi-purpose racing facility located in Topeka, Kan. annually hosts NHRA POWERade drag racing, the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), and many other pro and amateur drag racing, road racing, and dirt racing events throughout the race season.
