TOPEKA, Kan. (July 5, 2007) – World of Outlaws Thunder at the Heartland dirt race returns to the Heartland Park Topeka dirt track after three years.
The only premier winged sprint car series in the world brings world-class drivers from across the nation. Drivers compete for $6 million in purses and other prize money between the season opener in Volusia Speedway Park and the finale at the Inaugural Outlaws world finals at the dirt track at Lowes Motor Speedway.
The event will start with Gates opening at 4 pm, Hot Laps at 6:30 pm and races starting at 8 pm.
Advanced ticket sales are available now with general admission starting at $30, general admission pit pass combo $35, reserved $33 and reserved pit pass combo $35. Heartland Park Topeka, a multi-purpose racing facility located in Topeka, Kan. annually hosts NHRA POWERade drag racing, the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), and many other pro and amateur drag racing, road racing, and dirt racing events throughout the race season.
