KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Danny Dichio headed in a goal in the first minute of the second half to give Toronto FC a 1-1 tie with the Kansas City Wizards on Sunday night, that still left Toronto winless on the road.
Wizards rookie Michael Harrington gave Kansas City (6-4-3) the lead in the 18th minute but the Wizards could not score again, despite a 25-12 shots advantage on Toronto (4-8-2).
Harrington took a pass from midfielder Carlos Marinelli on the right wing and struck low for his third goal of the season.
Toronto replied when Dichio headed home his fifth of the season off a right-wing cross from midfielder Ronnie O'Brien.
Toronto, with four losses in six road games this season, overcame a 76th minute red card to Andrew Boynes to preserve the tie.
