Two Time Transplant Patient Provides Inspiration

Among the thousands of competitors in the Sunflower State Games, Tiffany Strohmeyer is easy to root for. Her cheerful personality masks a serious daily battle that requires her "Personal Best".
"Life has its ups and downs... you just have to make the most of it."

You might remember when we first introduced you to Tiffany Strohmeyer last Summer. She is now a little over a year removed from her second kidney transplant... and ten years removed from her first.
"I've had six surgeries since then... (ME SAYS) "... you're kidding.! (Tiffany says) YES... they found that something wasn't quite attached right."

Sports is her much needed distraction.... and doesn't mind giving the sports guy a little lesson. Although there is a fear factor involved in her own participation.
"You always worry that something might happen."

A pharmacist in Manhattan by day --- the Badminton is just for fun... Count her as a believer in the Sunflower State Games message of participation through competition.

"It's just fun... you get to meet a lot of people... and you get to do things you don't always get to do."
