CHICAGO (AP) _ Frankie Hejduk (HAY'-dook) and Landon Donovan
scored and the United States earned a spot in the CONCACAF Gold Cup
final by beating Canada 2-to-1.
Hejduk scored his first goal in almost seven years. Donovan
converted a penalty kick. Then the U-S hung on, getting help when
an apparent tying goal in injury time was disallowed on a disputed
offside call.
The defending champions, who are unbeaten in the tournament,
play Mexico or Guadeloupe on Sunday.
