EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) _ Juan Pablo Angel scored two goals _
the second on a penalty kick with just over a minute remaining in
regulation _ to give the New York Red Bulls a 3-3 tie with the
Kansas City Wizards tonight.
The tie keeps the Red Bulls (6-3-3) in a one-point lead for the
top spot in the M-L-S eastern conference over the Wizards (7-2-2).
After falling behind 2-to-0, Kansas City came back with three
unanswered goals and appeared ready to win until Jose Burciaga
pulled down Red Bulls forward John Wolyniec in the box in the 89th
Angel then beat Wizards goalkeeper Kevin Hartman on the penalty
kick, and neither side could muster another score.
Yura Movsisyan scored twice for the Wizards, who also got a goal
from Kerry Zavagnin.
