Royals Win Game, Series with Big Outing

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Mark Teahen had two triples and five
R-B-Is in leading Kansas City past St. Louis 17-to-8 for the
Royals' first series win at home against the Cardinals in six
years. Tony Pena Junior had four hits.
The Royals sent 13 batters to the plate in their eight-run
second inning. Ten more batted in the six-run fourth for Kansas
City.
The Royals have averaged nine and a-half runs in their seven
wins this month, including a 17-to-5 drubbing last Sunday against
Philadelphia.
Kansas City had 15 hits and the Cardinals had eleven. The
victory went to reliever Zack Greinke (GRAYN'-kee), who pitched
four innings and gave up a run and four hits. He's 4-and-4.
