TOPEKA, Kan. (June10, 2007) – E.T. Bracket racing was on the drag strip at Heartland Park Topeka Saturday evening with four classes being contested. Garry Billings, Tyler Wudarczyk, Joe Novacek and Joe LeBlanc all left HPT as champions in the second race of the 2007 series.
In the Trophy division, Joe LeBlanc out of Wheaton, KS defeated Doug Richert of Topeka on an elapsed time of 16.982 with a .014 reaction time.
Joe Novacek, Wichita, KS claimed the championship in the Sportsman category by defeating Dan Moore of Topeka with a13.612 E.T. on a 13.58 dial-in.
The Pro E.T. division saw a close race between Tyler Wudarczyk of Salina, KS. and Josh Peterson, Abilene, KS. Wudarczyk ran an 11.227 E.T. with a .058 reaction time to defeat Peterson.
In the fastest class of the evening, Super Pro, Garry Billings defeated Brian Coonrod going 152.14 MPH with a 8.670 elapsed time.
Racers will be back in action for the next round of the Heartland Park Topeka E.T. Drag Race Series presented by Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts and WIX Filters Saturday, June 23.
