ESU Track and Field Adds More Signees

EMPORIA, KAN. (June 6, 2007)--Emporia State head track and field and
cross country coach David Harris has added eight athletes to his
recruiting class, bringing the total to 22 student-athletes planning to
attend ESU and compete in track & field for the Hornets. Seventeen of
the 22 are from the state of Kansas, including three who won Kansas
state championships in May.

We are happy with this recent group of signees. They are excellent
students and will continue to add depth to our men's and women*s
squads,* said Harris. *Our staff is trying to put together one of
the largest recruiting classes since I came in 1992. We will continue
to work hard to complete our emphasis on depth into the month of
June.
