Tigers Toppled in Regional Final, Game 1

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) _ Chris Dominguez led Louisville in a 4-to-3
Columbia Regional win tonight against top seed Missouri.
Dominguez hit a tie-breaking, two-run home run in the eighth to
help Louisville force a deciding game.
The third-seeded Cardinals were coming off an 8-to-7 win earlier
today over Miami. Louisville ended Miami's string of 13 straight
regional titles.
Missouri's Jacob Priday led off the ninth against Louisville
with his third homer of the regional. The Tigers had runners on
first and second with one out.
But Kyle Mach struck out and Gary Arndt popped out to end the
game.
Missouri (42-17) lost for only the fifth time in 25 home games
to disappoint a third straight sell-out crowd.
The teams meet again on tomorrow with a Super Regional berth at
stake.
