NCAA Baseball: Arizona wins at WSU Regional

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ Arizona put together three straight two-out
singles in the seventh inning to score the eventual winning run and
beat Oral Roberts 4-to-3 in the opening game of the Wichita
Regional today.
Bill Rhinehart blooped a single into short left-center, a few
steps out of the reach of shortstop Adam Younger, to drive in Colt
Sedbrook from second base with the winning run.
Closer Jason Stoffel pitched two scoreless innings and
second-seeded Arizona (41-15) improved to 35-and-oh when leading
after seven innings.
Arizona starter Preston Guilmet and Stoffel combined to strike
out 16 batters. The Wildcats advance to Saturday night's game
against either top-seeded Wichita State or fourth-seeded New
Orleans.
Third-seeded ORU will play tomorrow afternoon in the
double-elimination tournament.
