Kansas State was left out, and Wichita State has earned a host site for the 2007 NCAA Baseball Tournament.
Six Big 12 teams made the brackets including Baylor, Texas A & M, Texas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma State.
Wichita State will be a No. 1 seed in the regional at Eck Stadium.
The Shockers (49-19) will open play against New Orleans (37-24). The other two teams in Wichita will be No. 3-seed Oral Roberts (40-15) and No. 2-seed Arizona (40-15).
If the Shockers win their first regional title since 1996, they will play the winner of the Texas regional in a best-of-3 super regional.
Texas received the No. 4 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. The NCAA selects eight top seeds, which cannot meet until the College World Series in Omaha.
Missouri Valley Conference Tournament champion Creighton is the No. 2 seed in the Arkansas regional.
