Heartland Park to Host Downtown Fan Fest

TOPEKA, Kan. (May 25, 2007) –Wednesday, May 30th, Heartland Park Topeka will be set up downtown in front of Cumulus Broadcasting at 825 S. Kansas for the 2007 Downtown Fan Fest to celebrate the return of the 19th Annual O’Reilly NHRA Summer Nationals. The event will be held from 11 am to 1 pm. The community is invited to come out and enjoy the fun.

The event will feature NHRA Top Fuel driver Hillary Will who will sign autographs. The Sonic mascots and the Buffalo Wild Wings Buffalo will also be there handing out coupons. Other freebies, such as pens, balloons and stickers will be handed out to kids.

Two free NHRA O’Reilly Summer National Tickets will also be given away in a drawing. The tickets will be honored for general admission for all three days of the NHRA Summer Nationals held June 1-3.

Heartland Park Topeka, a multi-purpose racing facility located in Topeka, Kan. annually hosts NHRA POWERade drag racing, the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), and many other pro and amateur drag racing, road racing, and dirt racing events throughout the race season.
