#7 Lady Hornets Roll To 88-43 Win
The #7 Emporia State women's basketball team jumped out a 15-0 advantage and did not look back on their way to a 88-43 victory over Arkansas-Fort Smith.

November 27, 2009 -- Jamie Augustyn had a career high 19 points to lead the Hornets who shot .429 percent for the game.
The ESU defense was the real story of the game as they held UAFS to only .274 shooting for the game. ESU jumped out 15-0 early and after UAFS cut the lead to 15-3, ESU would never lead by less than 14 points and led by a season high 47 points in the second half.
Nigest Taylor scored a career high 13 points and pulled down six rebounds. Rachel Hanf added 11 points and was joined in double figures by Lacy Corker who had ten points. Ashley Ferrell finished with a game high nine boards as ESU outrebounded Fort Smith 54-38 on the game.
ESU will return to the floor tomorrow at 1 p.m. as they face Avila from Joplin, Mo.
