LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) _ Wichita State guard Sean Ogirri is
transferring to the University of Wyoming.
The six-foot-two guard will sit out next season under the
N-C-double-A transfer rule and will have one season of eligibility
with the Cowboys after that.
He was the third-leading scorer at Wichita State this season at
nine points a game.
Cowboys head coach Heath Schroyer says he's excited about Ogirri
coming to Wyoming.
Wichita State granted a release to Ogirri and two new recruits
this month following coach Mark Turgeon's departure for Texas
A-and-M.
