Green says he won't play for Chiefs again

^AP-KSM--Chiefs-Green,<

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Quarterback Trent Green practiced with
Kansas City today while insisting that he won't play for the Chiefs
again.
Green turns 37 in July and was one of the N-F-L's most
productive quarterbacks from 2001 through 2005. He suffered a
severe concussion in the opener last season and didn't play well
when he returned for the second half of the year.
The Miami Dolphins are interested in Green, but the Chiefs and
Dolphins have been at a stand-off.
Miami is offering a sixth-round draft choice, and Chiefs
President Carl Peterson insists on a fourth-round pick.
Green's agent has said Green won't play for the Chiefs again.
Peterson says he's prepared to keep Green even as a backup and
pay his guaranteed seven-point-two (m) million dollars this year.
