May 21, 2007-- The Hornet baseball team picked up more post season honors as the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association released their all-central region team. Trent Lare and Mark McBratney were both named to the second team. For McBratney it is his second honor as he was also named to the ABCA All-Region team. He was also named first team All-MIAA and is tenth for the Hornets in career home runs and fifth in career triples. Lare was a second team All-MIAA selection and went 9-3 with a 3.00 ERA including a complete game win the first round of the NCAA Central Regional.
