MIAA freshman of the year Wes Joy earned another postseason honor after finishing the year as the league's batting average leader. The second baseman was named to the Rawlings/ABCA all-Central Region second team announced Monday.
Joy batted .401 and led the team with 46 RBI and 75 hits. He had a .561
slugging percentage with 15 doubles, three triples and three home runs.
He became the first Ichabod to hit .400 or higher since 2004.
He ads the all-region honor to his all-MIAA second team and freshman of the year honors.
