Hornet baseball finishes season in NCAA regional

WARRENSBURG, Mo. May 19, 2007-- The Emporia State baseball team fell 9-2 and was eliminated from the NCAA Central Regional by Central Missouri. The two teams met for the second time in two days, and the Hornets got two runs in the first inning as Keith Hernandez singled in and later scored on Matt Marasco's double. Andy Krehbiel went 2.2 innings only giving up two hits to keep the Hornets in the game for a while. The Hornets finish the season 41-24 and finished the Central regional in third place.
