WHY: Edwards is no stranger to this type of camp. Having grown up on the Monterey Peninsula and graduated from Monterey High School, he hosts a similar clinic in his native California each summer. Entering its 12th season in 2007, Edwards’ California camp is a rousing success and has grown in size each year. Shortly after becoming the Chiefs 10th head coach in 2006, he proposed the concept of bringing a similar camp to Kansas City.
First National Bank was established in Kansas in 1993 as part of one of the oldest and most successful financial organizations in the Midwest, First National of Nebraska. Since its founding, First National Bank has established an outstanding reputation in the community and has grown to $1.1 billion in assets.
