The Washburn Rural Jr. Blues Softball team earned 2 runs early, and that was enough to fly past Olathe Northwest 2-1 in the 6A Regional Finals.
The Royal Valley Panthers battled tough making their way into 4A Regional Final with Hayden in Hoyt Wednesday. Hayden however too tough for Royal Valley. The Wildcats earned a 10-0 decision advancing to State.
In 3A baseball action rivals Silver Lake and Rossville faced off in the Regional Final. Silver Lake moved on with a 3-2.
