Royals Blow Lead, Lose in Ten

CHICAGO (AP) _ Juan Uribe (wahn yoo-REE'-bay) hit a tying double
with two outs in the ninth inning and Jermaine Dye singled in the
winning run in the tenth as the Chicago White Sox rallied past
Kansas City 5-to-4.
Paul Konerko walked to start the bottom of the tenth and
pinch-runner Luis Terrero moved up on a wild pitch by Brandon
Duckworth, who is 0-and-3 with the loss. Dye, who entered in an
0-for-13 slump and was batting just .193, singled to center and
Terrero beat the throw to the plate.
Mike MacDougal is 1-and-0 with the win.
Chicago starter Mark Buehrle (BUR'-lee) failed in his third
attempt for his 100th career victory. Buehrle gave up four runs and
seven hits in six innings and is 1-and-1 with two no-decisions
since his no-hitter on April 18th.
