May 3, 2007-- The Hornet baseball team got a 14-2 run rule victory over Pittsburg State on Thursday, May 2. Trent Lare went five of the seven innings only giving up one run on three hits. The Hornets scored eight innings in the bottom of the fourth inning with four of the those runs coming on Matt Marasco's grand slam home run. Mark McBratney also went two for two with two runs scored and two RBI. The Hornets will next be in action with a single nine inning game on Friday, May 4 against Truman State starting a 7 p.m.
