Washburn's Lady Blues pushed a run across in the third inning to defeat Missouri Western 1-0. WU's Kelly Swygart pitched a one hit shut out. The double header was delayed for 2 hours and 50 minutes because of tornado warnings and lightning strikes -- first delay was 61 minutes with tornado storms northwest of Topeka...second game was called after five innings of play because of darkness -- Lady Blues left bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth.
