Koyotes Prepare for Opener

Jim Green, Head Coach for the Koyotes, has put together a strong and lightning fast team with players and coaches coming from Washburn, KU, K-State, Emporia State, Baker University, Coastal Carolina University, Bethany College, Sterling College and Ottawa University. “We can’t wait until we unveil our guys this year. We have 23 returning players along with 13 new acquisitions.”

“Our league is getting more stable and stronger every year bringing Northeast Kansas great indoor smash mouth football from April through July,” says Adams. “We’re glad to continue to bring high quality, affordable family entertainment giving our fans a great show in one of the fastest growing sports in the United States.” Add in all the family fun and games that spill off the field and into the stands during each contest and it makes the Kansas Koyotes the best entertainment value in town.

The Koyotes’ schedule includes returning rival teams the Iowa Blackhawks and the Missouri Minutemen with the addition of new teams Ft. Worth Regulators and Conroe Storm from Texas and the Springfield WolfPack from Missouri. Last year’s regular season champions, the Wichita Aviators are taking a one year hiatus from play.
