Both evening events start at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $12 per night.
Friday, November 13th is the 3rd annual American Royal Celebrity Cutting show featuring celebrities teamed with a top cutting horse trainer and a top youth cutter. The youth scholarships will be awarded at the VIP dinner and consist of $250.00 savings bonds to each of the 6 selected youth cutting participants. Youth cutters are selected based on cutting horse accomplishments, leadership, academics, and community service.
One of the world’s fastest growing sports, cutting offers tremendous excitement and drama for horse, rider and spectators alike. The competition consists of horse and rider separating a particular cow from a herd. The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) provides the means by which contests are judged by maintaining a point system which gives definite credits and penalties while providing a fair basis for judging cutting horses and their riders. The 6666 Ranch World Series of Cutting and the American Royal add $50,000 in prize money to the event drawing top cutters from across the nation.
