April 8, 2007-- The Hornet baseball team won both games of Sunday's double headers in walk off fashion winnings 7-6 on a Brian Major's bases loaded drag bunt and 5-3 on a Keith Hernandez three run homer. In game one Mark McBratney was two for four with three RBI as Daniel Waggoner came on and pitched 2.2 scoreless innings for the win in the extra inning game. In game two the Hornets trailed 3-2 going into the seventh innning, which was the final inning due too game one going extra innings, before Hernandez hit a 2-2 pitch over the center field fence. Grant Meisenheimer went all seven innings to earn his second victory of the season. The Hornets will face Pittsburg State in a single nine inning game Wednesday, April 11 at 6 p.m.
