Washburn Rural VS Wichita East Soccer
State quarter finals had Washburn Rural taking on Wichita East in a very intense and exciting game!

Washburn Rural and Wichita East were hoping to punch their ticket to the Final Four in State play with a win.
Wichita East only took 2 1/2 minutes to get on the scoreboard with a quick goal.
It was not until the second half when Washburn Rural scored to tie.
That score held through 4 overtimes.
A shoot out had Washburn Rural Goalie Justin Ives making a stop and Rural shooters finding the back of the net enough to pull out the victory.
Washburn Rural moves on to State Semi- Finals Friday.
