ESU Holds Off Pitt State
April 4, 2007-- The Hornet baseball team picked up a 5-3 victory over Pittsburg State at Al Ortalani Field in Pittsburg on Wednesday night. Brett Brandon pitched six innings to pick up his second win of the season. Offensively Tim Barger and Chris Evans were both two for four with an RBI each. The Hornets will come home for Friday and Saturday double headers with Missouri Southern at Glennen Field in the Trusler Sports Complex. First pitch on Friday is set for 3 p.m. with the games getting underway at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
