While at Washburn Rural Brock Simpson was a two sport standout in basketball and baseball. Simpson was also named all league and all city his junior and senior seasons. The only thing missing is a 4.0 grade point average. However Simpson earned that honor as well before heading to Lawrence to play baseball for KU.
