Lady Hornets, Lady Blues Finish in Top 20

March 28, 2007-For the ninth time in the last ten years the Emporia State Lady Hornet basketball team has ended the season ranked in the top 25 of the USA Today/ESPN/WBCA National Poll.

ESU finished the season 22-8, with six of the losses coming to teams that received votes in the final poll. The Lady Hornets will return two-time All-American Michelle Stueve and 2007 MIAA Freshman of the Year Cassondra Boston next season along with one of the most anticipated recruiting classes in the program's history.
