No Surgery For KU's Collins

Video will be available shortly.

The medical diagnosis is back on Sherron Collins and the news is favorable. As it turns out, Collins has a severe case of tendonitis in his knee, which will require rest, but not surgery.

Collins, who had been limping noticeably during the NCAA Tournament, and went scoreless against UCLA, had an MRI procedure conducted on Monday.

Described as a very bad case of patellar tendonitis, Collins will be required to take some time off, but should be in good shape for next year.
