Kansas State women’s basketball team will face Wyoming in
the Postseason Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) Semifinals
on Wednesday, March 28 at 8 p.m. (CT) at Arena-Auditorium in Laramie,
Wyo. The winner will advance to the title game on Mar. 31 and will
face the winner of Western Kentucky at Wisconsin. After receiving a
bye in the opening round the Wildcats cruised to a 72-46 win over
Southern Illinois in the second round before knocking off Illinois
(66-51) in the third round and Auburn (67-54) in the quarterfinals.
