UNDATED (AP) -- Freshmen Kevin Durant of Texas and Greg Oden of Ohio State have been voted to the Associated Press All-America team.
The 6’9’’ Durant led Texas to the Big-12 title while Oden has the Buckeyes playing in this weekend's Final Four in Atlanta.
Rounding out the first team are Wisconsin senior Alando Tucker, Texas A & M senior Acie Law the Fourth and junior Aaron Afflalo of UCLA.
Since freshman became eligible to play in 1972, the only ones selected to the first team had been Wayman Tisdale of Oklahoma in 1983 and Chris Jackson of LSU in 1990.
