LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) _ Matt Mangini and Rebel Ridling both
homered and drove in four runs as Oklahoma State beat Kansas
14-to-4 today.
Corey Brown also homered and drove in three runs for the Cowboys
(18-5, 1-0 Big 12), in their Big 12 opener.
Robby Price hit a three-run homer to give Kansas (14-13, 1-3) a
4-to-3 lead in the fifth. The Cowboys scored five times in the
sixth to take control.
Kansas starter Nick Czyz (2-4) took the loss, giving up five
runs in five and one-third innings.
Robbie Weinhardt (1-0) was the winning pitcher in relief of
Oliver Odle.
Leadoff hitter Keanon Simon had five hits for Oklahoma State.
