SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) _ Brandon Rush scored 12 points as Kansas
squeaked past Southern Illinois 61-to-58 tonight in the West
Regional semifinals.
Rush didn't miss a shot, and Darrell Arthur and Russell Robinson
scored nine points each for the Jayhawks (33-4).
Jamaal Tatum scored 19 points for the Salukis (29-7).
Rush hit a driving layup with 25 seconds left for the game's
final points, and Tatum missed a chance to tie it on a
three-pointer with eight seconds left.
