Kansas Speedway to Host Youth Leadership Academy Graduation

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Kansas Speedway will host the Kansas African American Affairs Commission Community and Government Youth Leadership Academy graduation and awards banquet on April 5th. The session will include participants meeting with business leaders from the Kansas City area and learning about the development of the science industries.

The Leadership Academy is for students ages 16-18 and will introduce them to the basics of leadership and development while highlighting Kansas history and government. The academy begins March 16.

Kansas Speedway’s seventh season of racing kicks off the weekend of April 27 with the IndyCar Series Kansas Lottery 300, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 and the ARCA Re/Max Series Kansas Lottery $150 Grand.
