KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ The Kansas City Chiefs have made another
deal to shore up their defense, announcing today that they've
reached a deal to re-sign defensive tackle Ron Edwards.
Terms of the contract weren't released, but The Kansas City Star
reports the deal is worth between seven (M) million and eight (M)
million dollars over four years.
Edwards started all 16 regular season games for the Chiefs last
season, along with the team's playoff loss to the Colts. He had 25
tackles and two-and-a-half sacks after joining the Chiefs from
Buffalo in 2006.
