OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Lance Harris scored 20 points today as
Kansas State beat Texas Tech 66-to-45 in the Big 12 Tournament
quarterfinals.
Cartier Martin added 17 points for Kansas State (22-10), which
advanced to play number two Kansas tomorrow.
The Wildcats lost twice to their in-state rival this season, and
Kansas has won 34 of the last 35 games in the series, dating to
February 1994.
The Wildcats dominated on the boards against Tech --
outrebounding the Red Raiders 39-to-25.
Blake Young added 12 points for Kansas State, while David
Hoskins had eight points and 12 rebounds.
Jarrius Jackson scored 28 points for Tech and had ten of the
team's 17 field goals.
