The Kansas City Wizards (8-11-8, 32 pts) travel to face Chivas USA (12-9-5, 41 pts) Saturday night at 9:30 p.m. CT at The Home Depot Center. Kansas City is looking to keep its playoff hopes alive, entering the game six points behind the New England Revolution for the final spot in the MLS Cup Playoffs. The Wizards are 3-1-2 in their last six games, including a pair of road wins.

Saturday night’s match will be broadcast live locally on Metro Sports (English) and Time Warner Cable Channel 5 (Spanish). The game begins 30 minutes after the United States National Team kicks off a FIFA World Cup qualifier in Honduras. The Wizards are hosting a watch party at the 810 Zone on the Country Club Plaza for both matches.

Wizards striker Josh Wolff, Kansas City’s leading scorer with a career-high 10 goals, reached the 200-games plateau with his appearance last Sunday. Wolff became the 3rd player on the Wizards roster to surpass the mark, joining Jimmy Conrad and Kevin Hartman. Wolff also became the 58th player in League history to surpass the 200-games plateau. Currently, 31 active players have played 200 career MLS games.

Wolff scored four goals in September and has now tied a career high with 10 goals on the year. He has been named Player of the Week three times in 2009 and eight times in his career. Wolff now has 72 career strikes, putting him alone in 14th place on the all-time MLS goals list. He is 9th among active players in goals, one behind Los Angeles Galaxy forward Edson Buddle. Wolff’s 40 goals for the Wizards rank second on the club’s all-time list.

Both the USA-Honduras game and the Wizards-Chivas USA game will be shown on TV screens at the 810 Zone, with the sound from the USA match played over the bar's sound system. Wizards captain Jimmy Conrad joined the National Team in Miami ahead of the contest and could be a part of the game-day squad in Honduras. Conrad, 32, is looking to make the USA roster for the second consecutive FIFA World Cup should the Americans clinch qualification in their final two qualifiers. Conrad played in two matches during the 2006 FIFA World Cup. He is one of nine players on the roster for the upcoming qualifiers to take part in the 2006 competition.
