Hornet Baseball Falss to Grand Valley State

March 6, 2007 -- The #26 Emporia State baseball team fell to #7 Grand Valley State 15-6 and 12-11 in Pittsburg, Kan. In game one designated hitter Chris Evans went two for three with three RBI's. In game two ESU charged back after falling behind early led by home runs from Marck McBratney and Billy Sharp. The Hornets will be home on Saturday, March 10 to take on Nebraska-Omaha in a double header. First pitch of game one is set for 1:00 p.m. at Glennen Field in the Trusler Sports Complex.
